Hi. We are Dave and Miri, and we moved to this beautiful part of the world in June 2018, having spent many happy holidays in West Wales. We relocated from Broadstairs in East Kent where Dave was a Firefighter and Miri was working for social services. We are now living the dream, looking after our 26-acre smallholding, surrounded by sheep, ponies, ducks and hens, and all the wildlife that chooses to visit. Murphy and Woody, our two friendly spaniels, enjoy roaming around the land with us as we go about the daily chores. They like nothing more than a splash around in our stream at the end of a hot sunny day!

Dave can often be found in his workshop, fixing whatever needs to be fixed, whilst Miri will be rooting around in the veg garden. Wherever you find us, we’re always happy to pause for a chat and put the kettle on or, if it’s later in the day, catch up over a pint or two in our soon-to-be-open micropub.
Wildlife and conservation are important to us here at The Three Spaniels and we are keen to encourage all manner of flora and fauna to thrive; to that end we are in the process of planting more native trees, restoring our hedgerows and planting patches of wildflowers wherever possible.
The newest arrival at The Three Spaniels is our first colony of honeybees. We hope to be collecting honey later this year, with any luck there’ll be enough to share with our guests.

Hope to see you soon!
