The Three Spaniels, Penlan Ganol, Cwrt-Newydd, Llanybydder, Ceredigion, SA40 9YN.
Our postcode often takes guests to a spot half a mile down the road so here are some old-fashioned directions to back up the modern technology. If you use What3Words these words will bring you to our front door:
From Cwrtnewydd, turn off the main road in the centre of the village, crossing the small river and passing the green 'phone' box on your left. Continue up the hill out of the village, you will pass the primary school on your right.
As you reach the top of the hill a wind turbine comes into view in the distance on your right. Our drive is just over the brow of the hill, marked 'Penlan Ganol' on a large tractor tyre. Ours is a ‘Y’ shaped drive – you’ll see our green post and egg boxes. The driveway is hedged both sides and around 400 yards long - you'll see the house as you continue down the drive. If you get stuck just call the landline which is 01570 434520.
At the bottom turn right in front of the house, passing our stone barn on the left and the garden with chicken run on the right. The hut is just in the next field on the right. It has it's own parking so you can drive right up to it.
Please do drive slowly and look out for our dogs who run loose around the house and are always pleased to welcome our guests. The big Malinois, Goose, is bound to hear you before us and will probably run up to your car, barking! He’s a big softy but still has to learn some manners so if you’re at all anxious just stay in the car and toot – we’ll be with in a jot to put him away and take you to the hut. The spaniels are old and bit batty so they might not get out of your way – again just give us a toot and we’ll come and find you.
Safe journey and we look forward to seeing you!
Hope to see you soon!
