In these strange and uncertain times we thought we’d give all our friends and future guests an update.
At the moment, The Three Spaniels Shepherd Hut is still receiving visitors and we are still taking bookings. This will remain the case unless it becomes unlawful for us to do so. In terms of combatting the spread of the virus, the Hut is a little distance from our house, and the house is some 400 metres from the public highway, so self-isolation is not difficult – even the postman doesn’t come close!
The Hut always benefits from a thorough clean in between visitors but we will be taking extra care to ensure all surfaces, including handles, are disinfected at turnaround. We will be around to meet and greet our guests as usual, but we will be following government advice so please don’t be offended when we don’t shake hands with you! Also we won’t be hosting any of our own social gatherings whilst there is still a threat from the virus so there will be just the two of us on site.

The Hot Tub is subject to daily monitoring to check the chemical levels are sufficient to kill any bugs and keep it safe for our guests to enjoy – this remains our daily regime.
Given our rural location and the 26 acres we have to roam around, the Hut is the perfect place to be getting away from all the current chaos, reducing social contact but still benefitting from the great outdoors. If you do wish to go out and about during your stay there are plenty of lovely wild open spaces, woods and beaches to enjoy whilst still being able to keep an appropriate distance from others. If you’re avoiding local eateries then simply pack a picnic and a flask of coffee to enjoy whilst you’re out and about; save yourself a few pennies too!
All that said, do please give us a call if you have any other questions about existing or future reservations.
We would like to wish you all good health and hope to see you soon.
Miri and Dave xx
