The little hut garden is really starting to blossom in the recent sunshine. The foxgloves are still providing quite a lovely display and the cornflowers are starting to flower. I found a fantastic garden centre in nearby Llandysul (Farmyard Nurseries) so I’ve been able to plant up some lovely old containers with colourful annuals which the bugs and bees seem to like.
Along the garden fence we’ve added a couple of different honeysuckles which smell heavenly, and an evergreen jasmine which we hope will fill the evening air with sweet scent.
Inside the hut we’ve added a little bit of extra storage in the form of a lovely Victoria bedside cabinet, perfect for that first cup of tea or breakfast in bed. We’ve also added a little brass reading light for a softer light in the evening, and so you can switch off the light without getting out of bed.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming our next guests, arriving soon.
